History
The organization got its beginning after Bob Quaine fulfill his civic duty of serving
as a juror on a Circuit Court case of the murder of a woman, the mother of three young children.
The accused has been convicted twice of first degree murderer of the victim. For the past 23 years he has been
sitting on death row in the Florida State Prison in Stark Florida. After all these years his attorneys filed for
another trial that is set for January 20th, 2009.

During the next ten years while still working the Bob and wife with the help of two volunteers, did a search for
their hand signals that would not conflict with other hand signals internationally.
In January 1997 a non-profit Florida Corporation was formed as Kidnapped and Hostage, Inc, the IRS issued a 501 (c)
(3) non-profit Tax Deductible to the organization. The same year the State of Florida Issued the organization a
Consumer's Certificate of Exemption, also the State of Florida issued license CH7637 to solicitation of
contributions.
For the next three years the survival signals were introduced in Florida and in several other states to schools,
the general public and to some fifty local and national organizations.
IN JANUARY 2000 THE PROGRAM AND ACTIVITIES WERE INTERRUPTED DO TO ILLNESS.
From January 2000 through 2004 the program was not fully attended to by the Quaine's due to illness of the
co-founder.
At that time my wife Marie became very ill and took most of our time and money, and we were mostly away from PAAAS
for time out for Marie, the most important part of my life.

On July 28th 2003 we lost our Dear Marie Quaine, Co-Founder of the program to a very long battle with Cancer,
she is greatly missed. Her never tiring efforts and happy loving smile will always shine in our hearts.
I promised Marie in her last months and days that I would put all my efforts in teaching the population of the
United States the proactive PAAAS Self Survival Signals.

2004 WE STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN TO FULFILL THE PROMISES TO BERNICE MOORE THE VICTIMS SISTER AND TO MY WIFE MARIE
QUAINE THE CO-FOUNDER.
In March 2005 the HELP plea word was change to ALERT and registered for copyright.
In November 2006 the organization was changed to PAAAS Parents Against Abducted and Abused Signals, Silent Survival
Signals. At the time the copyrights were filed.
The corporate name is PAAAS Silent Survival Signals, Inc. And was recognized with the Internal Revenue Service as a
501 (c) (3) Tax Deductible non-profit Charity Organization on June 6th, 2006.
2007 and in 2008 PAAAS attended two NENA Florida 9-1-1 Conferences introducing the PAAAS Four Steps from Victim
to Survival, also the Four Proactive Self Survival on their own, utilizing Hand Signals, Sound, Light Signals and
the internet proactive Self Survival Signals three tone and speed dial 9-1-1 locating system for victims survival
help on their own, at this time only approximately a third of the nation call centers are internet
equipped.
PAAAS also show off its Proactive Self Survival Signals Education and Training Vehicle.

In January 2008 the PAAAS Four Silent Survival programs were induced to NENA 9-1-1. The three
telephone tone was successfully tested with cell phones and local land line phones to local 9-1-1
operators in Florida. Something that has previously not been available, also the system will automatically
make the EMERGENCY PLEA FOR HELP BY THE VICTIM, re-leaving the law enforcement dispatcher from making
the wrong discussion.
In 2009 the name Silent Survival Signals was changed to Self Survival Signals. The program is now four programs a
hand silent signal, a sound signal, a light signal and by telephone three tone signal.
The program is now national with Internet Awareness and Education via blogs and twittering other marketing programs
for the self survival of any age person, in any language and without photos.
